As we evolve we now have an opportunity for a Technical Product Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for driving and delivering the Alison product roadmap. Through strong stakeholder engagement, you will work with agile development teams to deliver services to millions of leaners across the globe.
You must be collaborative and a critical thinker, experienced software developer in the past with the ability to break down complex problems. The ideal candidate is analytical and resourceful. This person loves to work with people as well with technical services, tools and frameworks.
Participate in a team-oriented environment to develop heavy loaded web-based applications with complex business logic
Collaborate with agile developent teams to refine product backlog
Deliver projects and features from the product roadmap on time and quality
Review possible technical implementation approaches and recommend best ones
Helping teams sorting complex technical issues, mentoring other team members
Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
Ensure that tracking is in place to monitor feature delivery progress and feature value
Leverage and use appropriate expertise and tools to improve the efficiency of the delivery process
Prior proven experience of a delivering projects in an agile software environment
Familiarity with the latest technologies and standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and a love of technical challenges
Must be self-motivated, and able to multitask across projects
Knowledge and experience in AWS suite of tools and services an advantage
Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Used to rapid development in Agile, and working with associated toolsets (JIRA, Confluence)
Strong technical background (prior experience as software developer is a plus) and ability to drill into the details to determine the best solution
